Year 11 Revision Sessions


Parents of Year 11 pupils, please encourage your son/daughter to attend these very important after school sessions as there are only 8 weeks before GCSE exams begin.  Please check back regularly as days/times may change. (Click on yellow title).

Ingredients are also on Show My Homework and outside the food rooms for pupils to see.


Year 10 PSE Health Day

Monday 26th February 2018


Year 10 pupils will be involved in a PSE Health Day on Monday 26th February 2018.  Throughout the day six workshops will be delivered on the following topics:

  •  Substance misuse
  • Coping with Stress
  • Money management and budgeting
  • Crime in the community
  • Revision guidance
  • Sexual health/healthy relationships

The sessions fit within the PSE framework that focuses on Health and Emotional Well-Being.

Year 9 Options Evening

Wednesday 28th February 2018

The information evening for year 9 parents/carers and pupils is being held on Wednesday 28th February at 7pm in the Top Hall.

This is an opportunity for parents and pupils to have an overview of the options process.  There will also be 'stalls' arranged within the hall giving further information on each subject offered as an option choice at Key Stage 4.

 Music Trip to Liverpool BME

The music trip to BME that some pupils in years 8 & 9 were due to attend on Thursday 22nd February has been postponed until Wednesday 28th February.  All other details from the letter remain the same.

A reminder of the acceptable standard of uniform below for your reference. 

Please note during the hot weather that shorts are permitted, but they must be tailored shorts rather than sports/PE shorts
