Year 8 My Life Day

Our Year 8 students will take part in My Life Day, an exciting learning experience designed to help young people develop the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to make positive choices both now and in the future. The day will focus on a range of topics linked to the Health and Well-being Area of Learning and Experience within the Curriculum for Wales, supporting learners to become healthy, confident and responsible individuals.

Through a variety of interactive workshops and activities, students will explore themes such as emotional wellbeing, healthy friendships, online safety, personal responsibility, resilience and making informed decisions. Learners will also consider how their choices can impact their health, relationships and future aspirations, helping them to develop greater self-awareness and confidence.

My Life Day provides an invaluable opportunity for students to engage with real-life issues in a supportive environment, develop practical life skills and strengthen the qualities needed to thrive both in school and beyond. By encouraging reflection, discussion and personal growth, the day supports our commitment to preparing all learners for successful and fulfilling futures.
